Venue Description

There isn’t much history about the Monaco Motel. It opened in 1958 at 3073 South Las Vegas Boulevard. While there is no direct tie between and motel and Prince Rainier III of Monaco, the motel had a royal suite exclusively reserved for the Prince and Princess Grace in the event they ever visited Las Vegas. The Monaco Motel closed permanently in 1993 and was demolished in 1994 during the Desert Inn Road Super Arterial project. Today the Encore Hotel and Casino sits upon the land.
