Key Largo, also known as Quality Inn Key Largo Casino, was a hotel and casino located at 377 East Flamingo Road, one mile east of the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. The property started in 1974 as the Ambassador Inn hotel, with a casino added in 1978. It went through several name changes until reopening as Key Largo in 1997. It closed permanently on January 18, 2005, for a high-rise project that never came to fruition. After years of sitting vacant, Key Largo was partially destroyed in a 2013 fire accidentally set by a man who was stealing copper from the building, unaware the electricity was still live. What remained of Key Largo was demolished in October 2013. At the time, Anthony Curtis of the Las Vegas Advisor opined Key Largo would not be significantly missed, stating while it had loyal customers, it was not nearly as popular as its nearby competitors, Ellis Island and Terrible’s Hotel and Casino. As of 2025, the property sits vacant.
