Venue Description

Bob Stupak’s Glitter Gulch opened in 1980 and operated slots, Blackjack, Poker, and Craps until 1981. In 1982, casino owner Herb Pastor acquired the Glitter Gulch and combined it with his Golden Goose Casino which was next door, operating it until 1991. Stupak was building Stratosphere Hotel and Casino and was, by that time, uninterested in Glitter Gulch. After the casino closed, the Golden Goose/Glitter Gulch combination became the Girls of Glitter Gulch, which closed in 2016. Today, the property is home to Circa Resort & Casino.
